I had an idyllic childhood as the youngest of seven in a large old Captain's home on historic Summer Street in Kennebunk. As a child, I grew up living and breathing real estate with my father's many open houses, developments and renovations through his own real estate company. One of my favorite memories as a kid was watching him purchase and renovate the Nonantum Hotel in Kennebunkport adding the newer "Portside" hotel on the property. After graduating from Kennebunk High School I attended Villanova University, also the Universite de Burgogne in Dijon, France, graduating with a BA in Communications. The Main Line of Philadelphia was my home for a number of years where I found another love, philanthropy. As a member of the Saturday Club and many other charities I enjoyed helping people all over the Philadelphia area. Although I was lucky to live on the Main Line, I still could not stay away from Maine. I purchased a summer home and spent summers and any opportunity to come for a visit. In 2007, I made a decision to return home with my three children. Falling right back into Maine real estate was natural, and with a new perspective as a "local" who was also a "summer resident" for a time has proven a great asset in helping all who are looking to purchase and sell real estate in Southern Maine.
