Hops for Habitat at Home

Portside’s Hops for Habitat at Home returned for another year, kicking off at the beginning of the giving season. This year we were fortunate enough to grow our efforts by adding two additional Habitat for Humanity organizations allowing our efforts to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland, York County, and Seven Rivers. 

Our generous brewery partners this year were Definitive Brewing (locations in Portland + Kittery) and Flight Deck Brewing (located in Brunswick). Together we sold nearly 300 of these Hops for Habitat at Home kits, raising over $9,000 for our local Habitats.

Our agent-led Hops Committee organized and constructed these custom Hops at Home kits for our fellow Portsiders to purchase (each kit represents a $20 donation to Habitat) and gift to their clients (seen below)!

Donations are being distributed to three Habitat for Humanities across Maine - Greater Portland, Seven Rivers, and York County.
