I graduated from Saint Joseph’s College with a degree in elementary education. I quickly jumped into renovating and opening a full-scale childcare program at the Sanford Springvale YMCA. After a few years of establishing six programs where I managed a staff of 15 and well over 100 children, I took a job teaching fourth, fifth and six grade in a multilevel classroom in Sanford. I enjoyed this very much until the birth of my two daughters. I then had the privilege of staying home with them for 15 years. In that time we built, bought and sold several properties. In total we built three homes, general contracting all three. We had four transactions buying and selling property, and in each I was fascinated in the process. I found myself wanting to do everything the realtor was doing. So, I went for it and got my real estate license. All of this prior experience has given me an edge, as I know and understand building fundamentals.

I am very passionate and excited about the field of real estate, I can’t imagine doing anything else! I am described as honest, positive and kind. I strive to do the very best I can for all my buyers and sellers. The Clifton Strengths Finder test showed my top strengths to be communication, empathy, positivity and strategic. I use these strengths to focus on creating a smooth, easy and stress-free home buying or selling experience. I try to stand out in the real estate through my passion for effective communication both during and after the sale.
