Susan was raised in Midcoast Maine in the small town of Alna. After attending nursing school at the University of Vermont, she returned to Maine in 1993 and spent the next 17 years living in Scarborough, where she built strong relationships and a deep connection to the community through her work in home health and as a school nurse.

After reconnecting with her high school sweetheart, Susan spent several years living in Michigan, but she found herself increasingly homesick for Maine. In 2022, she and her husband made the move back home, purchasing a fixer-upper in Freeport during the height of the pandemic. They’ve loved the balance of country living just minutes from Portland—and they’re happily back in Maine for good.

Having spent 36 years in nursing, Susan found herself ready for something new. Through her experiences buying and selling homes in both Maine and Michigan, and her passion for interior decorating and design, real estate felt like a natural next step.

Warm and outgoing, Susan brings the heart of a caregiver to her work as a real estate agent. Her years in nursing developed her ability to listen carefully, guide others through complex decisions, and provide steady support during important life transitions. She is committed to making sure her clients feel informed, confident, and truly cared for as they navigate buying or selling a home.
