Favorite Restaurant(s)
"There are so many local restaurants to choose from in Maine and New Hampshire. In the summer, BG's Boat House in Portsmouth, NH is one of my local favorites. Who can resist eating seafood (prepared anyway you like) while sitting on the water, watching boats, kayaks and paddle boards float by."
"Black Birch in Kittery, ME is also one of my favorites, the vibe is perfect! The turntable is always on with some amazing music and the menu can't be beat, wonderful food prepared in creative ways and some truly one of a kind cocktails!"
Best Farmers Market
"I honestly have not found a farmers market I didn't like but this market in Kittery is definitely a favorite. An incredible group of farmers, crafters and small businesses offering such a variety of delicious and beautiful items. Live music sets the mood as well. A weekly trip is truly worth it!"
Favorite Local Event
"You can't beat live music at Prescott Park, it's the perfect setting! The harbor and views of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and the surrounding beautiful gardens are amazing. You can wander and take in the sites or sit with a picnic and relax. The line up is always worth it, some repeat regulars and also new artists every year. Super family friendly as well!"
Best Community Fun!
"The pickleball craze is real and this York club is so much fun! Great courts and energetic competitors - my go to for community fun!"
