April Happenings in Greater Portland

Spring has sprung! As the weather warms and the snow melts, it’s time to enjoy the activities around Maine and New Hampshire. Whether it be a night out or a daytime venture with the kids, the events are endless this Spring!

We understand that the cold months bring snowshoeing, skiing, and snowmobiling. But there’s nothing better than a sunny hike, a trivia night, or a tasty cocktail. Luckily, we found the events for you.

Enjoy a day full of excitement and adventure at the Portland Museum of Art - Family Fun Day: Oh, What a World (with a free movie screening of Mia and the Magoo!). Are the kids looking for a little more upROAR? The Dino Egg Hunt is sure to be full of surprises and smiles with a dinosaur craft, egg hunt, the chance to explore fossils and have a yummy snack at the Children’s Museum and Theatre of Maine.

If the parents are in need of a night off, enjoy some comedy with Kevin Hart! One of the most recognizable comedians is spending the night with us Mainers at the Cross Insurance Arena on April 21 - don’t miss out on scoring tickets! Need more than a night off? Join artisans and makers at the (first-ever!) Artisan Weekend, April 15th (tentative April 16th) for delicious farm-table meals, exploring River Bend Farm and taking some time to relax in sustainably built accommodations.

As Spring comes, we are so lucky to live in Maine and New Hampshire. The wonderful outdoor activities or summer crafts with the kids are some of the best times of the year.

We hope you enjoy your April!
