Throughout May, Portsiders spread kindness by delivering flowers to their clients!
Portside agents paid it forward throughout May while bringing awareness and raising funds for Maine Cancer Foundation (MCF). Agents surprise clients with a potted geranium plant Pop-By Gift from Skillins Greenhouse in Falmouth. $10 from each plant purchased will be donated to the Maine Cancer Foundation. With 30 Portsiders participating and 234 plants sold, we are excited to announce that we raised over $6,200!
The MCF is on a mission to reduce cancer incidence and mortality rates in Maine. They lead statewide initiatives to foster and grow the most promising and effective cancer-fighting efforts for the people of Maine. To learn more about MCF or donate visit their website - mainecancer.org

What your donation will go towards:

$35 - Provides round-trip transportation to cancer treatment.

$50 - Provides one home colon cancer screening test.

$100 - Provides a visit to a social worker to guide and manage finances for a cancer patient unable to work.

$250 - Provides a visit with an oncology specialist to help manage a cancer patient’s side effects of treatment.
