Celebrating Pride Month at Portside

On November 8, 2005, Maine became the 16th state to protect LGBTQ+ people from discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity and expression in employment, housing, education, credit and public accommodations. Maine is the sixth state whose law includes gender identity and expression. These protections were enacted by amending the Maine Human Rights Act.

At Portside, we believe in love and housing for ALL. We are thrilled to celebrate and support this year’s Pride Month. Join us at the Brunswick, Bath and Portland Events!

Brunswick Pride, Saturday, June 10th, 12:00 - 5:00 PM
Join us at the Brunswick Town Mall for hours of LGBTQ+ celebrations! Performances, games and activities, tabling organizations and businesses, LGBTQ+ resources, bathrooms, food trucks, and more!
Drag performances from 12:00-12:30 pm and 2:00-3:00 pm.
Drag story time will be 3:00-3:30/4:00 pm.

Inaugural Bath Pride, Friday, June 16th, 4:00 - 7:00 PM
Join us in downtown Bath (Front and Centre Street) for an evening stroll full of PRIDE and a FREE self-guided tour of local artists, open galleries, and live music!

Pride Portland, Saturday, June 17th, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Join us at the Pride Festival in Deering Oaks Park to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of the LBGTQ+ movement. The Portland Pride Parade will begin at 1 pm starting at Monument Square, proceeding along Congress Street to Congress Square Park, down High Street to Park Avenue, and ending at the entrance of Deering Oaks Park.
