Portside's popular Autumn Equinox at Maine Audubon event returns for the 7th year on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Maine Audubon's Gilsland Farm campus in Falmouth. Sticking to tradition, attendees will enjoy night food trucks, local craft beer + wine, lawn games, and live music! This year will be extra special as we help our friends at the Audubon celebrate 50 years at their Gilsand Farm campus!
The 2023 Autumn Equinox, was our best year ever with record attendance and raising over $22,300 for Maine Audubon! For 2024 we are hoping to top those numbers and will be introducing new activities and special performances. Funds raised from the 2023 Autumn Equinox went toward expanding Audubon's diversity efforts through Education to inspire the next generation of environmental advocates, prioritize equity and inclusion in programming decisions and allocations, provide resources to increase environmental literacy, and embrace and expand its role as Maine's bird and birding lead through more accessible programming. All proceeds raised this year at the 2023 event will 
be used in the same capacity to continue making environmental education and literacy available to all.
