Maine Cabin Master, Ryan Eldridge, to Speak at Portside’s 2026 Summit
Ryan Eldridge, of Maine Cabin Masters fame, will be taking the stage at Portside’s Summit this January! Joining Dan McCarron, Portside’s Central Maine Agent Relations Manager, Ryan will be sharing candid insights on how their team grew from local contractors to national stars.
Maine Cabin Masters premiered on January 2, 2017. Since then, the show has become one of the most-watched on its networks — first airing on DIY Network and later transitioning to Magnolia Network, where they are currently in their 11th season. In 2020, they opened their retail store, Kennebec Cabin Company and Woodshed Restaurant.
Ryan also hosts the "From the Woodshed" podcast with his brother-in-law Chase Morrill, where they interview local and national names. Despite growing fame and a widening national audience, the Maine Cabin Masters team has stayed rooted in Maine and focuses on their local community.
They bring in tourists to the area and recommend local spots, ensuring local businesses all benefit. They are also giving back to local communities through build projects. They’ve built an arts and crafts building for a local YMCA camp, a clubhouse and the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center in Brunswick, auctioned off a bunkhouse for the Dempsey Center, and much more. Beyond builds, they hold events to raise funds, and are generally supporting the communities they grew in.
In this session, Portsiders will have the chance to hear from someone who took a small, Maine-based contracting team and transformed it into a multi-faceted, nationally recognized brand, without losing authenticity or local roots.
