Portside’s Founder + CEO, Dava Davin will Kick Off Portside’s Summit

A highlight of every Summit are the Opening Remarks given by Portside’s founder and CEO, Dava Davin. With a new theme each year, and a fresh, motivating perspective, Dava starts the day with a message that instills excitement for the year ahead, and a message that resonates long after the event ends.

 

At last year’s Summit, Dava shared “From Sunrise to Success: Dava’s 10 Lessons to Lead Your Best Life.” Weaving humorous anecdotes with sage advice, Dava shared honest and vulnerable lessons about how she approaches everything in life, from family to business. With an emphasis on gratitude, strength in kindness, and mindset, Dava inspired the room to move through their days with intention, resilience, and purpose.

 

In 2024, Dava walked us through our theme for the day - Embrace, Empower, Elevate, a framework that has since become foundational to Portside’s culture. She challenged Portsiders to consider how they could take their brand and business to the next level while setting transformational goals for the year ahead. She pushed us to have a positive and open attitude towards new things, even amidst shifting market dynamics. And she encouraged us to empower ourselves to be great!

 

This tradition also applies to Portside’s MidYear. Most recently, in July, Dava shared “Then. Now. Next. The Portside Story,” charting the company’s growth, celebrating our expanding market share, and sharing where we’re headed under the mantra: Independent. Intentional. Unstoppable. 

 

With such impactful past sessions, we can’t wait to hear what Dava has planned for this year’s Summit. Whatever the theme, one thing is certain, we’ll walk away inspired, energized, and ready to take on the year ahead.
