Giving Back Across Maine + New Hampshire: 1% Back Grant Highlights
Portside’s 1% Back initiative is delighted to highlight the incredible organizations receiving funding this year. These grants support projects that fight food insecurity, create safe spaces for youth, and build stronger communities across Maine and New Hampshire.
New Hampshire Statewide
Gather works to build food security across the Seacoast by providing nutritious food and innovative food access programs in welcoming and dignified ways. With funding, Gather will continue supporting programs such as its Pantry Market, Mobile Markets, and prepared meal initiatives that help ensure individuals and families have reliable access to healthy food. Serving more than 10,000 residents each month and distributing over 1.7 million pounds of food annually, Gather plays a vital role in addressing hunger throughout our communities.
