On July 23, Portsiders from across Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts came together in Portland for our annual MidYear event, an afternoon focused on learning, connection, and looking ahead at what’s next for our agents, our company, and the communities we serve.
Centered around the theme “Your Brand. Your Power. Your Impact.”, the day brought together Portside agents, leaders, and industry experts for conversations designed to strengthen the way we show up for our clients and our communities.
Learning, Sharing + Growing Together
The afternoon featured conversations on some of the topics at the forefront of real estate today, including pricing strategy, client representation, technology, AI, and the changing housing market.
Our Pricing in Practice panel brought experienced Portsiders together to share how they approach one of the most important conversations we have with sellers: determining value and setting the right pricing strategy.
We also explored how technology and AI can help agents work more efficiently and heard a national market perspective from Dr. Jessica Lautz, Deputy Chief Economist and Vice President of Research at the National Association of REALTORS®.
The takeaway? The real estate industry continues to evolve, and so do we. At Portside, we believe some of the best learning happens when we share what’s working, ask better questions, and learn from one another.
A New Chapter for Portside
MidYear also marked a new chapter for Portside: we’re joining the Howard Hanna family of companies.
This strategic partnership gives Portside and our agents access to greater resources, opportunities, and national strength while preserving the local leadership, culture, and community-first approach that have defined our company from the beginning.

Home Is Where the Hearts Are
We were also excited to announce another partnership rooted in the communities we call home: Portside is now the Official Real Estate Partner of Portland Hearts of Pine.
Like Portside, Hearts of Pine is deeply connected to the communities it represents. We're proud to support Maine's professional soccer club and look forward to growing alongside the organization, including the launch of its future women’s club! Together we will be able to collaborate and bring new ways to connect our agents, clients, and communities together around something uniquely Maine.
Celebrating Our People
After an afternoon of learning and a few very exciting announcements, we wrapped up MidYear with our Soirée on the Bay, giving Portsiders a chance to celebrate, connect, and enjoy a summer evening together. That spirit is what MidYear is really about. It’s a moment to step back, look at where we’ve been, and get energized about where we’re going.
As Portside enters this next chapter, we’re bringing more resources and opportunities to the table while staying rooted in the people, relationships, and communities that have always made Portside home.
