The Ecology School inspires stewardship, and connection to the natural world through experiential learning in ecology, conservation, farming and sustainability. As a Q2 grant recipient their EcosySTEMTM program will be able  to support both curricular and social needs of students.

Midcoast Literacy, a non-profit organization based in Bath, Maine, has provided free literacy programs to
people of all ages in Lincoln, Sagadahoc and Northern Cumberland Counties for the last 50 years! Their mission is to help children and adults develop their literacy skills through a wide range of gamily and adult literacy programs so [...]

It is with overwhelming excitement that we share the success of our first six months of giving as 1% Back to Maine. In just six short months we have collectively poured $72,000 back into our communities in an effort to support Maine's youth. Knowing that this initiative is new within the community and within the company, we wanted to take this opportunity to share with you a bit more about how it works.

Portside’s 1% Back to Maine initiative is focused on education during quarter 2, which is why our volunteer committee has chosen to work with Camp Susan Curtis.
