Portside Real Estate Group expands to New Hampshire’s Seacoast!
That's right! Portside Real Estate Group has landed in the beautiful Seacoast New Hampshire! We have set the pace as one of the fastest growing real estate firms in Maine for the past two years, and now we have our sights on New Hampshire with the opening of an office on 155 Fleet Street in Portsmouth. The new location will be our first out of state venture, marking an exciting shift to serve clients from the Seacoast region all the way to MidCoast Maine.
As part of the expansion to New Hampshire, we are ecstatic to welcome Adam Dean as Managing Broker, Seacoast Division to the team! Adam has spent nearly 20 years working in real estate across the region and most recently managed a team of 700 agents across four states for Bean Group. He began his career in real estate as Bean Group’s first hire and helped to grow it to be the leading independent real estate firm in Northern New England.
"We’re excited to bring more dynamic marketing and community involvement to a Seacoast real estate market that is hungry for something fresh. As the leading independent company in Maine, we expect to develop as strong a presence down the beautiful New Hampshire coastline. Portside’s deep connections to the communities it serves is a magnet for like minded agents and clients. Being part of something bigger than just real estate was important to me as I made this decision."
Founded in 2012 by principal and owner Dava Davin, Portside Real Estate Group is the top woman-owned, and locally run real estate firm in the state of Maine with $635 million in sales in 2020. Over the past 8 years they we have steadily grown, adding offices in MidCoast Maine and New Hampshire’s neighboring York County. Opening an office in Portsmouth, Dava’s former home, has been a long-term dream, one that aligned with Adam’s own vision to make the expansion a reality.
"This past year has given many of us clarity about our goals and priorities, and we’re thrilled that reflection brought Adam to Portside. I love Portsmouth and lived there for many years before moving to Maine. My husband and I moved to Portsmouth when my oldest son was just 10 days old, and my youngest was born at Portsmouth Hospital.”
Portside has a rich culture that places community involvement at its core. The Portside Foundation is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the communities they do business in by supporting humanitarian, environmental, and health-and-youth assistance programs. The Foundation organizes and produces multiple fundraising events and awareness campaigns on behalf of local nonprofits throughout the year and will carry their commitment to community service into New Hampshire.
“Giving back is in our DNA at Portside. We have been honored to donate $81,000 to support Maine’s local nonprofits and are dedicated to humbly continuing this work in the Seacoast region.”
